As a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 14 years experience, I believe prioritizing mental health is the first step in achieving a life that is meaningful to you. I am offering outpatient medication management.
Prior to achieving a career as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I completed a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and am a firm believer in psychotherapy as a combined treatment modality for maximum benefit and personal growth.
My experience working in acute services psychiatric ER, consultation-liaison service, inpatient mental health unit, and outpatient psychiatry has prepared me with a unique set of skills in swiftly identifying psychiatric emergencies, managing complex psychiatric situations/illnesses, and developing diagnostic formulations. I have experience with all readily used psychiatric medications and am well versed in psychopharmacology. I prioritize clear communication, attention to details, and empathic engagement.
